The DSPI consists of two parts. PART 1 is a 10-minute clinical interview to assess the extent and severity of the dissociative subtype of PTSD according to the DSM-5. PART 2 is a checklist to establish the presence of other PTSD-related dissociative symptoms. The checklist can be used as an interview or as a self-report questionnaire. It is recommended to use the DSPI as a complement to the CAPS-5.
